Good British humour...

During World War II many exclusive British clubs opened their doors to American servicemen.

One evening at a 300-year-old club, an American Army NCO stopped a steward  in a hallway and asked, "Hey Mac, where's the damn Loo?"

The Steward, who looked like Jeeves replied, "Glad to be of service, Sir.

Please proceed down this hallway past the busts of the early British monarchs, take the first hallway to the right past the country landscapes of eighteenth-century estates.

At the end of that hallway, Sir, you will see a polished mahogany door and on that door you will see a brass plate that reads, 'GENTLEMEN', but do not let that deter you, Sir—walk right in."
