*Detailed report of our Goa trip*

We visited Goa for six days and five nights in mid Sep 2023 (10-15 Sep)

For the uninitiated, let me inform that there are two airports in Goa. The older one is the Dabolim airport. This airport is also used by defence for its air operations. The other airport is loacated at Mopa in the North of Goa and has started its commercial operation in Jan 2023. As of now there are fewer flights going to Mopa airport than Dabolim airport.

We landed at Dabolim airport at 1:30 pm. Had taken an airindia flight from Delhi.

On landing at Goa I came to know that there is no Ola or Uber operating in Goa. We downloaded Goa Miles app on our phone and booked a cab.

We had booked an AirBnB property (host - Sowjanya) which was close to Calangute beach, 800m from the beach to be precise. The property was 39 kms from Dabolim airport. The cab charged around 1250 rupees from airport to the property. Reahced the property at around 3 pm.
It was a 1BHK property with two toilets, fully furnished kitchen and all other amenities. We were three people. The property was quite spacious for us. Airbnb charged approx 19000 Rs for five nights for this property.

*Itinerary Day 1*
After having lunch at a nearby restaurant, we went to Calngute Beach walking, spent the entire evening. Had dinner on the beach.

*Itinerary Day 2*
We booked a taxi on day 2 for an organised tour of north Goa. The vehicle booked was Ertiga.
We visitied Aguada fort, Dolphin, Sea Beach n front, Candolim Beach, Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, Vagator Beach, Museum of celebrities. He charged 2000 rupees for the itinerary of this day. Fort aguada is managed by ASI. The entry ticket is Rs. 25 each. In the evening the taxi dropped us to Calangute beach. We roamed around the beach, had dinner and come to our airbnb room walking.

*Itinerary Day 3*
On day 3 we took the services of the same taxi. We visited Mageshi Temple, Old Goa church and Museum which included Basilica of Bom Jesus, St Francis Church and Museum, Dona Paula, Miramar Beach, Panjim Church. We got dropped again at the market of Calangute beach to do some shopping. In this itinerary, people generally get dropped at Panajim for the boat cruise. Boat cruise is from 9pm to midnight, around three hours. Charges are 1200 per person in which dinner is also included.

*Itinerary Day 4*
On day 4, we took a break during the day as I had some some important work to attend online. The family spent the day at the property. In the evening we headed to Baga Beach and the Tito's lane and spent the time there. Had dinner there and came back home pretty late. Tito's lane is around 2km from the property.

*Itinerary Day 5*
On day 5, we went to Cabo De Rama Fort in south goa. This was around 72 Kms from our place. The fort has a church inside. After around 500 m walk inside the fort through a forest, there is a way which goes to a beach...colloquiolly known as the pebble beach due to pebble like stones found on the beach. This was a beautiful place and we took a number of snaps to capture the scenic beauty.

After a visit to Cabo De Rama fort and the beach, we headed futher south to Palolem Beach. Palolem beach is less crowded. A lot of foreign tourists were found on this beach. Had some fun in the water at Palolem Beach. It has a number of souvenir shops and food joints. Restaurants serving Sea food are in abundance in Goa including Palolem beach. Surprisingly, we found a pure veg restaurant called --------?. We had grub over there. We headed back to our place of stay in the evening. It was a two and a half hour drive from Palolem beach to our place of stay.   Again got dropped at Calangute beach, spent some time there and bought some titbits. Came to our place quite late.

*Itinerary Day 6*
We left the Airbnb property at 10 am. Rather than booking the taxi though Goa Miles app, I utilised the services of the same taxi operator which I was using for the last four days. He charged 1300 rupees for the airport drop.
Came back to delhi in the evening.

Hope this helps.

On day 3, the taxi charged 3000 and on day 5, he charged 4500/-
These are the standard rates which all tour operators charge.
