Unmarried/ divorced daughter of an Def Forces personnel is entitled for family pension after the demise of both the parents. However, pls ensure her name is included in your family particulars as issued by MS/DOP at the time of your retirement. Further, her name, DOB matches in all documents i.e as per family particulars name, same should be in aadhaar, PAN, school leaving certificate. In case divorced, decree of court should be  readily available.
On the demise of both the parents, she needs to process the documents with SPARSH. If her income is less than 9000 plus DR thereon, she will be eligible for family pension. To prove the income, certificate from revenue dept, ZSWB etc required.
PCDA don't sanction the pension unless all documents are submitted. Hence a delay of 1-2 yrs should be expected, as many fake cases where earning is much more are also processed by personnel. But, for eligible daughters, they should never ever surrender and continue to provide the documents to PCDA whatever asked for to get the legitimate entitlement.
Earning also includes FDs, MF, rent etc. Hence all these investments should be made accordingly.
No action is required by parents except to ensure that all requisite documents have no mismatched details. Name of such daughters can't be endorsed in the PPO during the lifetime of parents, as what will be the status of such daughter, when she becomes eligible for a family pension is not known today.
