Two ways to go to Bhutan. Land directly at Paro by Air. Costly affair since very few aircraft land there used by Bhutanese paid pilots bec of a small Airfield. Then two days at Paro, two days at Punakha, two days at thimpu and back to Paro for air travel.

2nd option to fly to Bagdogra. Reach Phuntseling by road. One ni halt at Phuntseling. Two days at Thimpu, two day at Punakha, two days at Paro and back to Phuntseling for ni halt. Next day by road to Bagdogra and fly back to home

I did road option and enjoyed it throughout. U can buy gold at Thimpu only at duty free shop which is much cheaper than India but payment is in dollars only. Option viable only if rates per gram in two countries is quite huge. Calculations can be done. An Indian has to pay Rs 1200 per person per ni as Bhutan govt fees.

Lots of scenic beauty, good tracking options, very nice people, love for phallus by all, great experience to see some monasteries, good shopping at Paro, etc. Option to go to Paro Taktsang, Tigers nest.

I have done Tigers Nest with a steep climb.

Go till the point where horses can take you

Thereafter brave up for lot of up and down by stairs

If no medical problem, one can visit
