⚓  HUMOUR IN UNIFORM  ⚓

Years ago, the govt. decided to introduce the 'Minimum Hindi Exam' for the Indian Navy.

In the 1960s, Captain N Krishnan (later Vice Admiral, who was the C-in-C East during the 1971 war) had to appear for the 'Minimum Hindi test'. So the ship's 'Education Officer' took an appointment with the Captain and requested him to just speak one sentence in Hindi in order to complete the formalities.

The Captain looked intently at the young Education Officer and said, "Beta, Kal hum tumhara Annual Confidence Report likhega." The Education Officer jumped out of his chair exclaiming, "Congratulations Sir! You have passed. May I leave?" 🤣🤣
