Folks in UK going 'Doolally' because of the heat?
(The word 'Doolally' (going crazy) is derived from a military cantonment near Nashik called 'Deolali'. British soldiers arriving in Mumbai were often stationed there. Apparently, some used to go crazy from the heat and boredom).
Actually Deolali was a Rest and Recoup centre for world war soldiers along with a big hospital. It has a sanitorium for mentally disturbed soldiers
